Terms of Use of the Site

These Terms and Conditions regulate the relations between the company bTalks Agile Ltd., entered the registry agency with UIC 205681483, head office and address: Bulgaria, Sofia, 6 Nikolay Haytov Str., Entr. B, Office 2, on the one hand, and the participants in the events, on the other.

GENERAL TERMS

In the interpretation and application of these General Terms, the basic terms used will have the following meanings:

Event: The event for which you agree with the Terms of Service upon registration. The events are two types - free and paid.

Date: The officially announced date of the event for which you agree with the Terms of Service upon registration.

Organizer: bTalks Agile Ltd.

Participant: Any physical or legal person who has filled in the registration form for participation, available on the http://www.btalks.com website, on the page of each particular event.

Request to Participate in an Event

In order to participate in an event, participants are to complete an online registration form which can be found on the event page or send an email to: see the contact details below. 

The organiser is not responsible for any queries containing incorrect and incomplete data.

Confirmation of Registration

For Paid Events - Each registered Participant will receive an email with payment details. Registration is deemed to be confirmed after a payment is effected by the Participant. 

For free events - Registration is deemed to be confirmed by filling in the registration form or by sending an e-mail message indicating the wish to participate. 

The organizer reserves the right to refuse an application for participation in the absence of vacancies.

Registration Fee for Participants

The fees specified in the registration form are without Value Added Tax 20% (VAT) as per the legal regulations in the Republic of Bulgaria. Once the data is successfully completed, the registered participant will receive an email with payment details.

Registration is considered valid only after a confirmed payment which shall be made within no more than five (5) working days after the registration, in case the two parties have not negotiated other term.

The participant should provide information for issuing a bill of payment (invoice).

Protection of Personal Data

The Organiser strictly applies the appropriate measures to protect personal data from third parties, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. The Organiser is obliged not to change or disclose any personal information about the participants registered for the event and not to provide the collected information to third parties.

The Organiser reserves the right to use part of the entered data in the Feedback Forms upon the explicit consent of the Participant as part of the statistical information announced for the event as well as for own marketing purposes.

Personal data provided by Free Event Participants may be used to inform the Organiser of his activities.

Each registered participant for an event agrees to be photographed during the event and these photographs become the property of the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to photograph and capture the hall and the visitors during the event and to use the captured materials for marketing purposes.

When storing data, we apply the general principle of storing it in a minimum volume and for a period not longer than it is necessary to provide the Services, ensuring their security and reliability and the requirements of the law.

Registration data (such as name, surname, e-mail address), registration information, and consent with the conditions (date, time, IP address), newsletter subscriptions are maintained until your subscription is terminated.

The Organiser processes your personal data only in accordance with the above objectives and deadlines. It is important to know that you can withdraw your consent for processing of personal data at any time by writing to us: see the contact details below.

As a data subject, you have the right to access your personal data processed for you. In addition, you may object to the collection and further processing of your personal data, as well as requesting them to be corrected or deleted (when there is no valid legal basis for us to continue processing them).

We provide maximum protection to those registered for our events on submission of the respective personal data. The Organiser will not distribute your personal data without your explicit consent. After the expiration of the processing period for your personal data, we will delete it permanently and will not use it in the future unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise.

Copyright

All types of copyright and other kinds of right in the materials provided for the purpose of the event are the property of the Organiser or of the copyright holders. The participants have the right to use these materials only for personal purposes. Copying and distributing of these materials is possible only after the express approval of the Organiser or of the holder of the respective copyright.

Failure to Attend

In case attendance is impossible, the participant is obliged to inform the Organiser by an e-mail not later than 7 calendar days before the day of the event. After receiving the e-mail, the Organiser has to provide the Participant one of the two options which can be used within a period of 1 (one) year:
• To attend an event with the same topic on other dates
• To attend an event with another topic with the same duration

In case of impossibility to attend, the Participant may be replaced by another. If the Organiser is unable to provide such opportunities to the Participant, the Organiser is obliged to refund the amount paid to the Participant.

Discontent

In the event of discontent with a paid event, the Participant should send an email to the organisers not later than 3 calendar days after the event. At the discretion of the organisers and in case they deem the arguments well founded, the Participant shall be given a credit of 1 ticket for the next event. If registration is a group one, this condition applies only for the first (1) person in a company.

A 1-ticket credit for a subsequent event refers to the presence of a person/company at an event of the Organiser of the same duration. Upon a subsequent event, following a previous discontent claim, no subsequent event credit is provided.

Limitation of Liability

The Organiser is not responsible for the reimbursement of amounts already paid to the Participants in cases of force majeure such as earthquake, natural disasters, war, threat of terrorist acts, etc. circumstances that arise from reasons which hinder the event and do not depend on the Organiser.

The Organiser assumes no responsibility for damages or injuries to persons or property during the event.

The Organiser is not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses resulting from the Participant's involvement in the event.

The Organiser is not responsible for loss, theft and/or damage of the Participants' personal belongings.

The Organiser reserves the right to change the programme, the lecturers, and the location of the event from the initially announced ones, and is obliged to notify each participant in a timely manner.

Postponement or Cancellation of an Event

The Organiser reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event. The organiser is obliged to indicate other dates for the event. The participant has the right to attend the newly announced dates or to claim reimbursement of the amount deposited for the event.

Upon postponement or change of the event, the Participant has the right to withdraw from participation and to claim reimbursement of the amounts paid up to 15 calendar days after notification by the Organiser of the postponement of the event. In the event of termination of the contract for various reasons, the Organiser shall not be liable for damages and lost profits to the Participant or third parties resulting from the termination of the participant's registration.

Amendements

The Organiser reserves the right to make amendments to these Terms and Conditions at any time by publishing these amendments on the website in due time.

The relations between the Organiser and the Participants will be settled and interpreted exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.
